John Denver is a popular singer and songwriter who has touched many people through his music. Most of his songs are based on Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell in New Mexico. He was enthralled by Colorado and moved to Aspen. Denver's national anthems to his adopted state have attracted many people to Colorado. G. Brown of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame states it is true that John Denver is unlike any other performer who has the recognizable image of Colorado. Denver is the Hall of Fames' first inductee, was honored by the honor in 2011. He is now the symbol of Colorado to people around the world.
